Huawei chairman Xu Jijun announced Monday that the company will launch its 6G network by 2030, and according to the chairman, it will be 50 times faster than 5G. This is certainly surprising as we have seen, 5G is slowly growing and becoming more and more popular over time.

He made the remarks at a conference of global analysts in Huawei, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, southern China. Communication for Huawei has always been one of their biggest strengths, already a few miles ahead of what their 5G networking is offering, which means the company has already gained good leadership when it comes to research and development with 6G.

Mobile networking can be changed by introducing Huawei 6G

According to Shu Jijun, the GG network was launched in 2020, and Huawei is about to release a GG white paper that will help the industry understand what GG is.

Dean Qui Baoguo, deputy dean of the School of Information at Tsinghua University, predicts that GG network speeds could reach up to 1,000 gigabytes per second and delays by 100 US microseconds. The speed of 6G is 50 times faster than what we see on 5G networks and the delay is one-tenth of the time. Needless to say, the 6G - 5G network will be even more advanced in terms of the peak rate, delay, traffic density, as well as connection density, mobility, spectrum efficiency, and location efficiency.

It should be noted that an important super-speed network is simply a branch of 6G. According to experts, a suitable 6G network will result in uninterrupted global coverage through the integration of satellite communications into a world connected to the integration of terrestrial wireless and satellite communications.

In addition, having a 6G network can also overcome existing 5G vulnerabilities, resulting in poor connectivity in high-speed situations. The supported speed exceeds 1000 kilometers per hour which means travel with 6G will be much more convenient.

Needless to say, Huawei is probably going through a tough time. Still, if the company manages to bring 6G to market successfully before the competition, it will only gain a better competitive edge than the others.
