At least 40 people have been killed after a bus overturned and caught fire in western Congo. On Friday (April 9), the news agency Reuters reported the tragic accident.

Willie Itshundala, the governor of the country's Kiwilu province, told Reuters that the tragic accident took place on Friday near the village of Kiuwaya, a six-hour drive east of the capital Kinshasa.

Governor Itshundala said nothing exists there. All have been cremated. Besides, the bodies of 9 out of 31 people rescued alive in the tragic bus accident have been severely burnt. Their condition is also alarming.
